Read Across America Week Feb 27th-March 2nd

It's Read Across America Week.  Let's have some fun and celebrate each day.

Monday- Feb. 27th - Wear Cat in the Hat stuff or a silly hat.
Tuesday-Feb. 28th - Wear something that coordinates with your favorite book.
Wednesday-Feb. 29th - Wacky Wednesday! Wear your wackiest clothes.
Thursday-March 1st - Wear your Nebraska clothes to celebrate Nebraska's birthday.
Friday-March 2nd - Dr. Seuss' birthday - wear your pajamas and plan to read the day away!

Artist In Resident spends a week at Paddock Lane

Thad Beach spent a week at Paddock Lane doing an artist in residence program.  He met with each class and spent time writing songs and playing instruments from his band in a bucket program.  Thank you to Paddock Lane PTO and the Nebraska Arts Council for providing funding for this program.

What a great Valentine party our class had today.  Thanks so much to the parents for the treats, fun games, and craft.  The kids had a blast!  Happy Valentine's Day!
