Welcome 2013-2014 School Year!

I would like to welcome you to my blog.  Each week I hope to post what is happening in our classroom so you are able to ask your child questions about school.  This week our Boys Town Social skill is Greeting Others.  We will be reading the story Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night while working on character and setting.  In phonics we will review short and long vowels and begin working on consonant blends.  In Language Arts we will be learning about predicates.  We will be starting our invertebrate unit in Science.  Keep reading and practicing your spelling words each night.
